It’s tradition to riot as part of a team’s victory.
The fireworks shows weren’t too bad though
|
|
Ya well there maybe a bigger melt down on either side come 11/6.
It's already been proven the machines have changed votes in Georgia.
|
|
So it’s skynets fault

Elements in society thrive on chaos whether it is anarchy or "profit". Even Canadians celebrate a Stanley Cup with some burning and looting. These aren't sports fans they are opportunists.
|
|
It really depicts the divide in this country. The people outside the walls burning and destroying, and the people inside playing a fucking game making MILLIONS.

“It’s already been proven that the machines changed votes in Georgia.”
No. It has not been proven. In fact, quite the contrary. State and local election officials have confirmed it was human error on the part of the person voting. You read one fucking article or hear some nut job like MTG make an unfounded claim and you call it “proven.” But hey, don’t let the truth get in the way of a good story.
See link for details.
Feel free to prove me wrong by providing a link to something issued by the state the the Dominion voting machine changed somebody’s vote.

back to point, saddened to see this, an excuse to loot & destroy things - really sad.
Not just an LA thing, many other cities have seen violence when their team wins - I just simply don't get it, especially within your own neighborhood presumably.
Reminds me a bit of Stephen King (Bachman) 'the Running Man' - dystopian future where sports are used to keep the masses more docile.
Loved the book, liked the movie - Richard Dawson as a game show host - too funny in it's time.

Same Shit , Different Year.

I Blame the Dodgers for spending 700m for a guy who didn't do shit in the series!
|

I stand corrected.
It's all in who you trust.

Harpooned,
There’s a website that you can troll endlessly. It’s called FoxNews.com. I’m sure you have an account with a screen name the includes a childish name like Trump or Cofefe or Bone Spurs. HX isn’t a political website
|
|
But there are some really reliable sources you should trust with your life…CNN and MSNBC.
|
|
Now we are trolling the troll. This isn’t a political website

Back to the WS. The Yankees handed game 5 back to the Dodgers after it was already won. Their defense was atrocious for a WS team. I wish it would have gone 7 games with the Dodgers winning by hitting instead of Yankee errors and confusion

You brought up Fox News. Just wanted to keep balance

Who knows, maybe the next president will put an end to this by dispatching federal troops to shoot a few rioters as a message to the rest of them. Worked for Germany in the 1930's! Worked for the U.S. in the 1930's (the "Bonus Army"). Now that I think about it, which one occurred first? Maybe Germany took a page out of the U.S. book!
There is, and always will be a fine line between demonstrating and rioting - usually boiling down to 1 or 2 demonstrators that are provocateurs. These provocateurs are the one's that need to be apprehended and dealt with harshly - as a clear message to the others!

Yep, Ohtani should donate half his salary to charity. And he hurts himself getting thrown out at second base? I believe if he pitches and hits next year he will likely hurt himself.
|
|
Ohtani and Judge were both terrible in the WS but had great seasons to get their teams into the playoffs. Every player gets injuries

Loved the World Series. Won a big bet that the Dodgers would win in 5. An even bigger bet that Freddy would be MVP. And totally cleaned up my bet that a bus would be burned within 2 hours of the game being over.

Stay classy Los Angeles!!!!

Jammerman, AFMadness brought in the politics, not me. So if you feel the need to police the blogs and chastise people who break your rules, go after him, not me. Thank you kindly.

I'm so mad, I could steal a TV!

Sorry Harpooner. I don’t even know why I comment. I always feel like a fool afterwards . I’m not here enough that it matters and nobody gives a shit what I think anyway

Ironic that the downtown victory parade got caught in traffic.
