Follow the scenic 14.5-mile road to the coast to Jalama Beach. This camping park is a respite from typically bustling seaside parks, yet offers many conveniences. Groceries, personal care sundries, firewood, fishing bait, tackle, ice, and beverages may be purchased at the Jalama Store, and while you’re there, enjoy the famous Jalama Burger from the Grill.
Jalama Beach offers basic sites, including 12 beachfront, partial-hookup sites on a hill with an incredible view, along with two group campsites and seven cabins

Great lists and alot to go to. They're all amazing.
Well this is man made and is about 36 miles from Buena Park.
The Huntington Library. It's scattered buildings of Library, Museums,a home, cafes on 130 acres of Gardens. The open hours are short and 4 hrs isn't enough try to go right at opening
History and why were dependent on cars
The Huntington Library was the home of the guy that owned Pacific Electric Railway Company. People were dependent on Street Car lines. There was 1200 miles of Los Angeles County and Orange County till GM conspired buying the street car lines.
Pushed sales of buses, got convicted and created the panic of 1947 thinking it's a chemical attack, which ended up being smog, air pollution from all the cars and buses.
Since street cars were no more.
Air quality was a lot worst in Los Angeles the air was so brown you couldn't see the high rises of downtown up until the early 2000, because smog was so bad, because old cars of 1970's -80's still existed.
