Silver Bullet

Like everybody else, they're free to drink whatever they like.
Is there a problem with any of that?
What amazes me is that these bigots like Bud Light in the first place...
Not understanding what happened. Coors beers sales went up. I know lots of people from the West Coast who always liked Coors from way back. Is the Bud thingy real from a partnership with Trans or is there more to it? Can not believe 2 Billion in sales loss from one commercial.
The way I see it Bud did something (cans) to support an outspoken tranny. Bud drinkers who don't want to be image associated (lol, people and their 'image') with a product that supports her (Mulvaney) disassociated themselves (boycott drinking the beer) from Bud light.
My take - buy/drink what you want for whatever reason you have, I don't care and it's nobody else's business.
Yes but there must be more to it. Lots of companies now support progressive states of life. All kinds of pharma now has rainbow stuff on front pages of their websire business links. So just not getting that one commercial with outspoken transitioning person caused 2Billion in revenue loss. Did this partner do something else bad? Strange to me that a trans could cause that much loss.

From a news blog:
"Beer analysts are saying that Bud Light is still struggling with the boycott that has reduced its sale by a whopping 28% over the four weeks leading up to Dec. 9 — and heading to the all-important New Year’s sale period. The tragic irony for the company is that Alissa Heinerscheid, vice president of marketing for Bud Light, sought to dismantle Bud Light’s “fratty reputation.” She succeeded. It is now the symbol of woke companies for many and consumers seem to be treating the company as a vehicle to express their opposition to the social and political campaigns of companies from Disney to Nike."
Is it still a boycott, or did they just realize it was pisswater when they tried other beer?
I just saw Payton Manning doing a bud light commercial. I don’t thinks it’s gonna help.
Tatiana, companies are not all alike. I don't think there's much more than the surface story.
It is probably the biggest 'executive totally fucked up by not having the slightest clue about their obvious customer base.' A complete fucking loss without the slightest redeeming lesson. One for the history books.
I think Socaliam and Nigel are on target.
I have seen the CEO for Anheuser Busch on CNBC accepting the blame for this screwup. I suspect that the cost of this advertisement was a comparatively small amount of money so he may not have even reviewed it in advance.
The reality is that both Bud and Bud Light are not high end beers. Their customer base is primarily Joe Six Pack. They ended up antagonizing a good part of their base by that advertisement.
Attached is a run down of the history of the boycott.
The public is just tired of being told what is correct to think.
Freedom goes both ways, stop with the preaching and bullying
Bud Light did not create cancel culture
I have read that beer consumption is down across the board.
Bud Light is owned by AB InBev which essentially owns a world monopoly on beer manufacturing.
You people love a good con story.
Bud light could've made all this go away by simply making an apology for trashing their beer fan base. But like many corporations they just thought it would blow over if they threw more ad money at it. Peyton Manning and other ex nfl stars won't fix their problem. Just own it and apologize, then people may come back around
They sorta did a "non-apology" apology, which just pissed off the trannys too
Anybody know the market share of beer drinking trannys?
AB InBev's plan made sense though
Let's trade the HUGE redneck beer market for the nano tranny market
Then we piss them all off
By the way Rod, your socialist inner voice can't quite let go, can it?
AB InBev world market share is 27% with an ROE of about 9% and -1% Growth rate
Not exactly cornered the market yet, have they?
No Rrod111401, you can't spin this with 'overall beer sales are down' BS.
Bud Light is no longer the #1 selling beer. It's sales (specifically Bud Light) are waaaay down.

And there's a boycott on of Dunkin Donuts too:
The CEO of Rumble.com Chris Pavlovski tweeted recently that Dunkin wanted his company to drop Steven Crowder, a conservative talk show host, and steer away from "right wing culture." Rumble is a video sharing platform that has a more conservative audience.
The alleged emails that Pavolvski sent out in his tweet show messages from Dunkin, Inspire Brands and Diageo North America that expressed that they were opposed to showing up on the site because it is "too polarizing from a brand sustainability standpoint."
In the same tweet, Pavolvski said his response was "no, we don't discriminate. All cultures are welcome on Rumble."
Many Rumble supporters expressed how they are ready to boycott the coffee chain because of their alleged refusal to appear on the platform.
They'll throw their money at biased liberal Disney/ABC and all the rest, but anything to the right of Moscow? Forget it. No problem, everyone to the right of Moscow can forget Dunkin Donuts too!

Dang, L/R is bitter. Necroposted just to yell at me. Did some math & declared himself superior. Followed up with an insult. Get some help at the VA, will ya.

Or I stand up to online bullies or in you're case keyboard warrior, "Be Best" LMAO
I kind of view all of this boycotting BS as a manifestation of "My Way or the Highway!" or "If you are not with us, then you are against us!" which is the exact thing that is tearing this country apart!

That's true. But have you ever watched Fox News vs. CNN? Fox News has 10 times the ratings CNN or MSNBC has. However, Fox is fulled with Shriner's Hospital ads, ads to send money to help poor people in Israel, catheters, etc.
Meanwhile, you see all of the major automakers, fast food restaurants, etc. advertising on CNN and MSNBC, but you don't see them on Fox. Why? Because they are all afraid of the threat of boycott from those on the left. The left will come after any Fox advertiser they can. It's their attempt to silence opposition.
But when you think about it, why would you frequent an establishment or use a service whose company and leadership believes contrary to your own morals or beliefs? You give them money which they in turn contribute and use against you. For me, examples are the major networks, Disney, AT&T, etc. I will not use any of their products anymore. See my comment about Dunkin Donuts above, they made the shit list too.
The left has been doing this for decades. And people on the right go about their business like a bunch of dummies, supporting their enemies. Enough of that. They aren't getting a penny more of y money, and many of us on the right have finally figured that out...there's a parallel economy of like minded people and companies that we can use, Disney, AT&T, Dunkin Donuts, etc. don't own our patronage any longer. We can and will walk away.

Every time I see a Youtube video of Disneyland or Disneyworld the parks are still packed and every attraction has a line, while Six Flags appears dead. They have been boycotting Disney their entire life because they were to broke to visit in the first place.
Why did it take Kid Rock to explain to biggots that Bud Light was pee water to get them to stop drinking pee water and then why did they start drinking Coors pee water? Not much brains over there.

@YellowB2
Americans have short memories and I am one of them. Honestly, I can't remember any boycotts instigated by the "left" - can you please provide an example (don't go overboard, just 1 or 2 will suffice). And BTW - labor boycotting is totally different.
"why would you frequent an establishment or use a service whose company and leadership believes contrary to your own morals or beliefs?" Well I wonder how many people on the "right" buy products made in China? Virtually all of them I would guess. Is that not the same thing?
Not trying to pick a fight, just stating that I don't get the argument.
I am reminded of when women went to work in the factories during WWII. After the war was over they refused to give up their jobs and go back to being a TradWife. I see this as kind of the same thing. LGBTQ is here to stay, like it or not. No amount of government control, interreference, or harassment is going to change that. We can either learn to live with it or lose sleep over it.
Live and let live!

Marisa, I recall a 'left' boycott of Chick-fil-A for some reason. Heck, the Montgomery bus boycott was a 'left' boycott. Really, every body boycotts, or wants to use it to get their way. It's one of our rights born from our freedom of association.
Just as the left and right are different groups of people their reasons for boycotting differ, which may mask their left vs right origin. The right's motivations are a bit more cut and dry and, therefore, more obviously 'right.'
In politics, just the threat of negative publicity or a boycott motivates politicians out of the public eye. Only when that fails does it go public.

@PSHornyCouple, this is who you are,
6 years 1 girl and 1 guy that cucked you, that's not cheating cause you watched.

That attitude of "live with it or loss sleeping over it" is what got us all in this deep cesspool, we all have a homo girls/boys as friend and majority of them are super cool. It becomes and a major issue and a problem when we have young girl loosing scholarships to a biological male claiming to me female, and let's not forget how many sexual predators are relocated to female prisons, how about changing and forcing children to partake in so call education/indoctrination in different genders and pronouns. Instead of teaching them useful skills and how our financial system works. Human being are not done maturing till they reach 25 years old when our frontal lobe context is formed. If we see all of about mentioned and we are just standing by don't ask when you grandchild question you and ask " what were you doing while all of this was happening". I have been shadowed banned and my adds on the net are no longer visible to my friends, just because of how critical are my views but I am not doing extra except bring things out that may not be to everyone knowledge. It is a shame and breaks my heart to see so many young girls traumatized and in tears to see them loos something that they trained and work almost their entire life. Just my humble opinion and a brief summary of the big picture...
Toporbottom, There's no reason to put a name to a face for using old, filtered, or altered pics. I'll explain it for your dumbass. The only risk to the community that it may pose is lose your $$ because you don't want to walk away. Also because many use use old and, or old pics. If we all do our research, business meetings go as well as they can.
You know nothing about this because you haven't dared to meet with anyone.
I agree Lusin. I couldn't care less about the gay and lesbian people at my place of work being what they are. I wouldn't want their 'pride' rubbed in my face but I never gave them a reason to feel that they needed to make a stand. But now we have what you described. IMO the movement has been usurped by the extreme and has gone too far in some areas. As far as any boycott, that's anyone's right to not spend on products they don't want to spend on.
People are tired of companies weighing in with political views, and on controversial topics.
They are being punished and reminded by consumers that they are in business to sell products, not to alienate any part of their consumer base.

^ Yup, I refused to join the union at work, when it was 'freely' optional, for that reason. I gave up any perks of membership because I didn't agree with the union's shenanigans.

Always been a Miller Lite gal myself. Add a Jim Beam on the side.. I'd be in heaven.
I imagine I was a older gentleman, that liked to sit in those fold out lawn chairs, making sure nobody messed with my trash cans in a past life.
