It looks like you figured it out, or someone was nice enough to buy you some mailchanelyenz don't need ya because they already have mail privileges! That said, you posted your number in both your classified and your profile. When ladies do this, they open themselves up to being scammed.
General advice for everyone on HX:- Don't put your number in your profile or classified
- Insist that people contact you via PM first. This serves two purposes:
- Ensuring the safety of all parties
and - Supporting the site by purchasing FX points
- When you receive a text from someone saying they are "JoeBlow from HX" you should not respond to the text until you have checked to see if they sent you a PM. If they haven't, you should immediately PM the profile they claim to be and ask them if they just texted you. Wait for a response before engaging with the person texting you.
There have been dozens of ladies over the years who have not followed the protocol above and ended up taken advantage of by shady people. Some have encountered people who don't respect their limits, filmed them without permission, gave them counterfeit money, robbed them, and a few have beaten up and/or raped. The best protection against this is to make sure the person you are talking to is the person who controls the HX profile they claim to be. Always insist on a PM.
Once you know who you are talking to, you can look at their network to see if other people think they are safe or dangerous, you can PM those people to get a better picture, and you can see if they rate people back. You can also check to see if there are any blogs about them, and read the blogs they have created.

Also, if u don't have points at the moment, any reasonable person would send at least a day of mail/PM to verify and arrange a meeting.

Regardless of whether or not you have points, you can receive and read your PM’s. So always insist on a PM.
