Daves Hot Chicken

Tried a Dave's Hot Chicken the other day with Reaper level spiciness. They make you sign a waiver.

That's about the hottest restaurant food I've ever had but the nice thing was that it also had pretty good flavor too.

Spicy food can often hit you again on the way out and that got me wondering. If a person had a regular diet of these things would it also spice up other oral activities.

Have heard that diet can impact that sometimes but never heard about spice coming through, but as hot as that chicken was you've got to wonder as I wouldn't be surprised if even your sweat is hot later.

About 3 hours ago I had a #3 Combo in Reaper, but they did not have me sign a waiver. This was not in OC.

I washed it down with a chocolate shake and multiple Dr Peppers, and my nose was running so bad it took a while to get under control.

I do fear what is likely to come.

I will not get Reaper again, regardless of the outcome. I do feel the hot took away from the flavor of the chicken.

I'm having trouble associating merlot with 13. To me that sounds like a nice bottle of MadDog 2020.
Just saying.

Agree, the food sucks. They can't even get a simple thing as cole slaw right.

But yes, the chicken is extremely hot and way too salty with too much batter.

Update: I’m still alive, and no “double burn,” possibly thanks in part to the chocolate shake. I will add that it takes a lot to upset my insides, but I’ll definitely go less hot next time.

I also survived the reaper without much of a 2nd day burn.

Will repeat mainly because I like spicy food, not because I’m looking for a gourmet sandwich. You do get a pretty good size portion.
