Reposting our ads will bump us to the top for new (there are new guys everyday)and returning clients to know that we are available! I see mostly regulars at this point but still consistently post classified so those regulars know that I am available and to see what city I am in. Most have the common courtesy not to text me unless they see an active ad. Hope this helps !

Attention!!! Attention!!!! Ladies and gentle people (not my quote). Humble pie and honey on sale get yours while supplies last. š¶
Back to our regular programming š¤£š¤£. I will speak from my own personal and critical experiences. I am of a certain age that comparing myself with someone half my age the level of traffic is less, much less nevertheless it is pretty consistent. Also our national economy and cost of living has and will continue to a big impact on everyone lifestyle. At times when I catch myself complaining so much I must remind myself how blessed and fortunate I am to see my regulars but even their visit have been esporadic. My motto always provide what they want and never cheat myself. Wishing you all the best much love...

For me, if an ad is several hours old, it's stale, and the appointment might not be available. I appreciate bumping ads.
Plus it's good for the site.

Bitches aināt burgers, bro. What weāre dealing with is a classic case of square projection.
Thatās when a square (aka dork, dweeb, muppet, muggle, standard issue idiot) attempts to create some analog to describe a world in which he or she is merely a consumer.
Donāt trip. Youāre not unique.

What Yourbaby_Fiji and Bwana said are both facts of maintaining a relevant existence on HX. I understand the argument you are making, i.e. that your favorite choice of food (The Habit - FYI, mine also) does not advertise and are uniquely successful without that added advert expense.
However, did you consider that we compete here on a broad scale with a large marketing focus, but have to keep-up what we do and create a local feel? This site is so efficient in doing that.
I update ads during the day as ladies come and go. It has been said more than once by many of my regulars that this is the only way they can keep track of who is available.
Summarizing what Bwana said, stale ads are not attractive to potential consumers. This obviously contradicts your hamburger comparison, since we are generally a fluid operation with multiple menu options available at various times and locations.

Habit advertises.
|
|
I've never seen Habit advertise, but it doesn't matter cos it's a random example. The point of what's been said is correct. It's only annoying when it's accounts I'm not interested in. Wish blocking existed.

@IcedCoffee - you can always unsubscribe to profiles on HX that you do not want to be notified when ads are updated.
You can also just ignore the 10:00am - 14:00PM updates when Asian agents post their updates on the new upload page.
I think there is a way to blacklist people you do not have any interest in engaging with on HX. Let me try this feature..."ADD ICEDCOFFEE to blacklist..."
Yea, that worked!

Classicā¦ Iām going to get a burger

Reposting ADS is important
Especially if your traveling
And someone might catch ur finally closer, or coming soon.
Reposting
Goes to the subscription alert
I subscribe to lots of hotties n see what's up all the time
|

There are reasons we update the way we do, but please stick with your agencies (as noticed in your recent network) and ill continue to be the plumber and clean these pipes
|
|
OP
Throw your wet blanket back over yourself.
Buy some points and support the site.
DorianGray can't send mail at the moment, but if you unlock some for them, they would certainly appreciate it!

Damn PK, you always make sense

Reposting isnāt a big deal - some ladies might be having a slow day, even with regulars. It also indicates availability.
Sometimes it may be a booker doing the posting though, hence the repeats. A few times Iāve seen ladies and then went back to the classifieds and noticed a post was made during our time together.
Advertising never hurt anyone, unless itās false.
|
|
lol jindd please don't š„²
|
|
IC - just wanted to show you how that works. I remove the block now. Cheers!
|
|
lol thanks
|
|
Reposting also indicates they are maybe online and available the chat as well
If someone doesn't post for 12 hours prolly too busy, or out of range
|
|
If advertising didn't work there would be no advertising.
|
|
Dorian, why the fuck do you care about this so much? It is pretty weird.

The examples you gave about plumbers, attorneys and tax offices constantly advertising are absurd examples to use. All of those services depend on new clients to continue their business.
If a plumber fixes your problem you won't need to contact him again.
You pay your taxes once a year. If a tax office is used, they can't get you as a client for another year.
You only contact a lawyer when you need some legal work done. Once it's resolved, there's no need to contact that lawyer.
The reasons stated in response to your question are valid reasons to update ads here.
It keeps the community informed of present availability so members feel more confident that contacting members with recent updated ads will be in a position to respond to inquiries and set things in motion...

The "Alert" function is a good concept - it just lacks a little in functionability. When alerts become intrusive and annoying members will simply turn them off my unsubscribing to the profile, which kind of negates the whole purpose.
I get a lot of inquiries from the OC/LA area asking when I will be up there again. They usually ask me to give them a heads-up if I am planning on being in their area. From my end, this is almost impossible to manage. It would require me keeping track of 100's of profiles and sending each one of them a separate PM when I am planning on being in their area (not happening). It's all I can manage to just send PM's to my established clients letting them know of my intentions. For members who are "interested" in knowing when I will be nearby, simply subscribing to follow my profile is the best (and only) way to know when I will be there.
And yes, us girls routinely make minor changes to the ads in order to send them to the top of the list - that is just pure marketing sense. Same with updating our locations.
Possible solution (requires site management to fix):
Add a "refresh" button to the ads to make it simple to send it back to the top of the list without any substantial changes. Restrict it to once an hour only (like other sites do). If a member has subscribed to my profile then it would not be too difficult to avoid sending an "Alert" because I simply refreshed the ad with no substantial change to it. This would essentially deliver only one alert when I am making a change to the ad, like locations or specials, which is appropriate.

What babyfiji said in the first comment ^
I mostly see regulars but I post my ads to let them know when Iām available as I donāt like texting them (I respect their privacy) and I donāt love being randomly texted about my work schedule either.
Also yes there are new people joining and quitting the hobby everyday so I like to keep my presence known if Iām available. On top of that I travel to different locations all over southern CA so need to post ads according to my location, duh! ya ding dongš
|
|
Strongly disagree with op on this. I check the ads frequently to see who's available in my area. Some of the frequent ad posters are some of the best on hx. I rarely send a pm or text if I don't see an ad posted by the person. It would probably be a waste of our time because they may be in another city or not working. Plus, new ladies are always catching my eye. Finally, browsing the ads is fun and ads keep the site in business. If the op doesn't like ads, he doesn't have to click on them. It's not like annoying pop-ups or something.
|
|
And looking at op's network, it's filled with prolific ad posters...
|
|
So, admittedly, Iām a little dense. A āsquareā if you will (and Mr. allcaps, we prefer the term NANO( neither acutely nor obtusely) angled! lol)
So like, Mr. DG, I donāt get it, are you suggesting that ladies offer coupons with their ads? As Habit obviously does (thank you shroomz) ie. , free order of fries with every pop, or free soft serve ice cream with every pegging, etcā¦ Cause now thatās something I could get behind (no pun intended).
Is anyone else getting hungry? I am off to utilize the Habit coupons right now as a matter of factā¦.. yummmā¦ bergerssssā¦
jinndd1328 I think you may have me blacklisted or blocked?
I would like to respectfully request that you reverse same as I would like to patronize your fine establishment sometime as well.
Now, lets all go to the malt shop, shall we? And ladies, do send those coupons my way!
Peace out

This post is screaming something to me and I can't put my finger on or in it!?
|
|
@HoundDawg my notes show the following:
Blocked 8-18-22. I didnt give him my 909 number so he got it from someone else....
The best way to avoid this (if that wasn't you) is to put on your profile that you "will never text without a PM first."
That way, I know it wasn't you who texted without a PM first.
A lot of reports of people pretending to be HX members. They pick up phone numbers from other review sites and say "Hey I'm so-and-so from HX (apologies to so-and-so if that's an HX handle).
|
|
OP has to have had one of the dumbest client takes Iāve ever seen and thatās really saying something
|
|
@OP
But what the hell, come see me for an hour and I'll give you some free french fries or an ice cream cone!
Maybe I'll start becoming an obsessive "coupon clipper" then I can pass them off to clients that will probably never use them anyway (then blame me for trashing up their car). But if that makes them feel better, I'll do it! I am here to please!
|
|
@OP
But seriously, you just need to understand the problem from the girl's standpoint, then it will become abundantly clear to you why we do that. We certainly don't do it just to annoy someone, that would be counterproductive.
|
|
@OP
And if The Habit doesn't need to advertise, then why do they need a Chief Marketing Officer (see link)? Or, put big signs on their buildings?
Advertising can come in manner forms, but no question or argument that word of mouth from satisfied customers is the best, and cheapest. However, in a situation where almost everything is under the radar and taboo to even discuss, word of mouth is few and far between - except when someone wants to bash us girls, then it is "jump on the bandwagon and flay them till they bleed" time. (Loose analogy on my part - you can't flay someone without making them bleed! But you get the point - I hope)

If you already have a spot you go, why bother looking at the ads? That way, it won't bother you. Problem solved.
I have problems with when the ad is up, and the chef would tell me that food wouldn't be delivered until later in the day. Or sometimes, the food truck had already left the spot while the ad is still up.
|
|
@Marrisa send those coupons my way! !I'll clip your pons! Yummm..... lol
@jindd1328 thanks for your clarification. YOU did however, send me your (909) number. And, in fact, I still have the pm thread with same in it.
If you would kindly unblock me I will be glad to forward the thread to you so you may confirm?
Anyway, no harm no foul.
xoxo,

I rarely am available anymore so when I finally do come out from under my rock, guys are always saying that they didn't see my ads. For me, its a good way to allow friends to know that I am available. I also don't reach out to anyone first. I have heard many men complain about it so I just stopped doing it. I would rather message people and let them know that I'd like to see them but then I don't want it to come off the wrong way, so you get the ad bumps lol
BUT also it shows that the person is still available because if a girls posts at 10am she may end up being busy by 4pm and no longer checking messages.
|

@OP I stop reading your pointless rant after the second sentence.
The alerts is a function you can choose to turn off, but you probably subscribe to every page you come across, as a result defeating the purpose.
Lame Blog.

I'm just here for all the pretty pictures. Well, the pretty ladies in the pretty pictures...although I have to say some of the pictures are pretty too. Also, random ranting. Confused. Not care repeat ads. So What.
Rock. Find. Going back. To rock. Drags burger under rock too.
