i was visiting oahu recently, known to be the most expensive place in the US.
not anymore, california is more expensive when it comes to:
gas
shelter (rent)
food/drinks

Well, we have opened our arms to every illegal immigrant that wants to walk across the border. They will immediately be eligible for MediCal, school nutrition programs, California Food Assistance Program, Disability Insurance (DI) and Paid Family Leave (PFL), and the list goes on.
We rank 19th in school spending and 40th in school ranking, so not getting our money's worth.

Gee, and I was told by those here who blindly believe everything they read in the MSM (cough, MA1, cough) that Democrat policies were responsible for the budget surplus. So are they also responsible for the deficit? In this "booming" economy?

More money should be spent on illegals. Everyone else just walk into your
favorite store and take what you want. Payment is no longer required.
BTW, I'm a middle class guy and whenever I go to the market,
I see plenty of people there with EBT cards and they certainly don't
dress like they are in poverty. It certainly appears that they know how
to game the system.

βOur esteemed Governor has somehow turned what was once a surplus into a (by his methods of bizarre accounting) $38 Billion deficit. Now the Legislative Analyst Office (who had the deficit projected at $56 Billion regardless of what Newsom states) has the deficit projected at $74 Billion...Newsom was 100% off!
If I ran my business this bad, I'd be filing for Chapter 11β
Since one unnamed president filed for Chapter 11 SIX times and millions still think he is a great business man, I donβt think bankruptcy is a deterrent π€·π»ββοΈ
