I have sensitive gums. Tend to bleed when brushing and food stuck between teeth...
I had a great dentist. She had gentle fingers. Always gave me anesthesia when I saw her. She had this trick- gently shake my cheeks as she gave me the shots. She said she could see my anxiety, as I became rigid like rigor mortis.
She was great... But she had cancer and passed away more than 15 years ago. Best dentist I ever had.
She asked me if I wanted wisdom teeth taken out... I asked, doi need them out? I still have them. 1 came in, because at age 12, I lost a molar. And there was room for that tooth to come in. The other 3 are still in my jaw, never moved.

I have anxiety in the dentist chair as well. My dentist prescribed me Valium for my visits. It honestly helps out immensely.

and yes real work (root canal, moms partials) I always paid him for. His practice was sold, so now I'm semi desperate to find someone new.
