Sounds to me like an intentional set-up. How could you possibly not think that you may need to sit next to a women on a plane? Easy money for a lawsuit? I hope not. ALL airlines should banish this passenger from future flights - including EL AL.

whiny little man..
if the seat was blessed by a rabbi, it would have been kosher?

You never know nowadays. He could win, hell any stupid thing is possible now.

My religion forbids me to sit next to an extreme liberal.

I can get a doctor's note about that. Very bad for my health.

My religion forbids me to sit next to ANY extremist!

^ then, I'll behave.

^ Well there you go, no need to see the doctor!
But don't trip; I don't ask to see party affiliation cards at the door nor talk politics in the bedroom. Talk about an instant buzz-kill!

My religion (well sort of) requires me to sit next to hot women who want to join the mile high club. Imma gonna sue if I don't get any.

"Religion is the worst enemy of mankind. No single war in the history of humanity has killed as many people as religion has." We need to move on from religion. It had an important place in our evolution but has clearly outlived it's usefulness.
I love to sit next to religious people on planes. They are so easy to make fun off. It passes the time...

The three men responnsible for the most deaths in the world were Mao, Stalin and Hitler in that order. None of them believed in any religion whether it be Christian, Jew, Islam, Hindu, etc.
If you deal with the ancient world you get into a whole other group of characters such as Ghenghis Khan, Attila, etc. that did not believe in religion.
I would agree that a lot of people have killed each other in the name of religion but unfortunately many didn't need religion as a justification for killing others.

It certainly is one of the major 'reasons' though.

“Tyranny is the mask of fear.”
Don’t know enough about Mao, but for Stalin and Hitler it was true. I remember when the story of the Russian scientist who diversify the winter crop with genetics, while his scientific rival was telling Stalin to put the seeds in near freezing water to strengthen the plants for tough Russian winters.
The scientist rushed through the Kremlin main offices, running late for a with the Cabinet due weather with the data to prove his theory, and he turned a corner and hit another late entry- Stalin himself. Stalin was terrified that this was an assassination attempt, even though the man quickly picked up his scattered papers and was turning to run towards the meeting, only to realize his fatal error. The Russian strong man was whimpering and cringing on the floor, and no one could know what a coward he really was and live.
He never made it to the meeting, but instead ran back to his office “to get more notes” and told his colleagues to flee and send the their data to scientists around the world. Within 48 hours all the scientists had been sent to the Gulag, never to be seen again, but their notes lived on.
