good luck in ca

They are actually giving them out now that the Supreme Court ruled against may issue to shall issue I’m in the process of obtaining mine
|

Kern county is easy to receive ccw, also Riverside county very possible. The County sheriff issues them. Go the County Sheriff website from where you live. There should be instructions and application to apply for ccw.
LA county is issuing now using LAPD as additional help in processing applications. OC is possible also. Good luck.

Took the class, applied during a brief window 10 years ago and got it.
Then within 2 years, they took it away.
Frankly, think long and hard about whether you will actually carry a loaded weapon on your person or in your car. Then, think about the atty. business card you will also carry, that will be your first call should you fire your weapon in anger or actually shoot a bad guy. 10 yrs. ago, I was told my minimum legal bill would be $15k, even if it was a totally righteous shoot. If your life is truly in danger, $15k is cheap protection but what are the chances you'll ever need it......seriously.
If you think the answer is still yes, pay the $350 to OC Sheriff, take the class and blaze away.
I decided to pass and just put my 12 gauge in the trunk with a box of shells on my front seat. In 99% of situations, I can be locked and loaded in less than 10 seconds. When anybody hears the sound of double ought being racked, trust me......they are out of there.
Hope that helps.

Like Ronin said, in Kern and Riverside counties ccw's are a little easier to obtain. It is very important to be insured and have an attorney to call at the moment after having to use it.
An alternative that's legal in all 50 states and does not require a permit

San Bernadino is easy to get also. There are restrictions. Better to be safe the sorry

i have an LA county ccw. Ive had it for 4 years now. DM me if you;d like

It's different for different counties
As someone said la county I heard is nearly impossible but in riverside county it's super easy.
The thing is though you NEED training . Most people get a firearm for self defense and don't know how to properly use it. Then it ends up being used against them. I did the tour and am about to start taking classes at United Defense Tactical in Costa Mesa. So far I love it
They help with so many types of training and knowledge about SO MUCH!
From firearm training, to self defense like martial arts or how to protect yourself against knives, to jiujitsu
And you can get your CCW there as well

Also look into a company called USCCA.
I've been a member for a year now
|
|
Yes I have a CA CCW and an Arizona CCW. How can I help?
|
|
Yet another reason to love June

I have a CCW issued by the OC Sheriff.
Take your classes at Artemis Defense Institute. They can guide you through the process too.
|
|
USCCA Is a waste of money and they will not defend you.
Attorneys on retainer is the way to go!
|
|
Moneytrain... I can show you many more reasons if you let me
Soaked .. I've heard that but I do have some friends who are firearm safety instructors and they swear by it. I say it depends on the person really
I like it and it has helped me in a certain instance but not all people may need or want it which I get too
|
|
Now that I think about it, I guess it is kinda useless lol
It's only helped with the classes and information that they provide BUT you can probably Google and get that anywhere instead of paying monthly
As far as being in a situation where I like needed it . Idk. So I see what you mean for sure .

what would you like to know
send me a PM i'll tell you whatever you need

I'm researching Attorneys on retainer now. I've heard some negative things about USCCA not covering client when needed.
|
|
USCCA gave us the sales pitch and a situation we could face in life with ccw. Of course the way it’s structured it almost scares you to where you don’t even want to carry. Oh but insurance! They’ll back me up! I won’t get into detail on insurance company’s you all seem somewhat educated.
USCCA was exposed a lot these past months and it’s not looking to good.
For us here in CA pray to your gods you’ll never have to draw a weapon. Well unless you are already a criminal well than you can do whatever you want.

in LA county you are probably more likely to get shot by the good guys/girls, expecially if your carrying..
and i get it, they are 24/7 under the threat of someone wanting them harm; so they are on alert.
tazers might be an idea as well though i think cali has limited the use
then there is always the going fishing "permit"
Answer: There is a California Penal Code law that allows anglers to carry a gun while fishing and while hiking to and from their angling site. California Penal Code, section 12025 prohibits carrying concealed firearms in California, however, section 12027 provides the following exemption to this prohibition: “

but lets be honest here, you only need to carry or be on high alert around blacks and latinos lol
they do fill up the prsion system for a reason
|
|
How many times has legally, concealed carry people shot innocent bystanders? I'm guessing not many, if any.
|

@lapierre tazers wont stop someone thats on drugs or is extremely determined.

I've had my CCW for about 10 years - just after the Peruta decision.
CA believe it or not, largely is a shal issue state due to Peruta, of course some counties define 'shal issue' a bit differently.
I would suggest checking out:calguns.net ('though it seems down at the moment)
It's a forum where some VERY good info is shared & backed up in an open forum with people who know their stuff, not like you get here.

Yes! PM me if you’d like to talk about it. 😘
