I bought bicycle parts and tools from Temu.
Aliexpress has been good to me, not always cheaper than Amazon.
|
|
Oh, I needed an electronic component but every online seller was selling in bulk. I found a TEMU seller that sold just 1, and the price was fair.

I like Temu for decorative and holiday items around the house, Party theme items and occasionally lounge wear. My mom uses it for all sorts of random stuff. They have a really good return policy if things don't fit or aren't what you expected.

If you are going to use temu, don't use the app, just the site.

I prefer bypassing the middle-man and just send all my personal info, SS#, bank accounts, etc straight to CCP@China.com.

I like it, I have got some really cute outfits and stuff for my houses on that site

Strangely enough...I was looking for some toy guns for a costume... apparently it's illegal to sell toy guns in California at stores or online Amazon and eBay both ban shipping plastic toy guns to California....so, I discovered TEMU...not exactly how they get around the ban...but it worked. Took 3 times as long...so, you have to order with ample time to spare.

Obsessed!! I love cheap shit! Some crap is really cool!
Addicted!
Will work for Temu credit. LOL

I have been getting stuff from Temu over Wish for a year now. The products seem to be a bit better than Wish even though they're from China

It is mostly cheap shit, so go in knowing that what you buy will be fun for a limited time and have fun with what you bought.
They have a lot of sex toys.
Free shipping over $10 and delivery isnt that bad.
|
|
is it mostly shipped directly from china or do they have supply stores in the US?
i guess if it ships directly from china essentially they cut out the "importer/distributor/amazon seller"
really surprised how popular it appears to be.

ive been into aliexpress, temu is alright, the quality is actually surprisingly good or awesome for most things ive got, ive found things i couldnt find on azon or ebay, and i dont think the quality control would be much better if made in another country, i could say hands down china has the most integrity and rigorous standards when it comes down to it

I do use temu and similar shein and alibaba. You do need to plan for longer shipping and definitely read consumer reviews.
For my online shopping, I do use the same chase bank account just incase of fraud because their fraud department did help me once (Amazon disputed charge actually). Just incase.

"If you are going to use Temu, don't use the app, just the site."
This seems to be great advice. I heard that Temu is just like TicTock where your personal information can be compromised through the app, but the website should be more secure by rejecting the cookies.

When I looked into it a while back, the concern was with customer service. Too many non-deliveries and folks left out to dry when it occured. So the prices are almost too good sometimes, but it might be that you are rolling the dice a bit too.

The only reason temu is cheap is because it is,subsidized by chins govt. They want all your info and will want you to use the app. You think it's easier then a year from now all your info is being sold online. Be very suspicious if it comes from china

Just used today for the first time. Will report on how long they take to deliver and if it’s worth it.

Also, let us know when your identity is stolen and your credit in shambles.
Thank you for supporting communists using slave labor so you guys can save a couple bucks on a new frock that'll fall apart after one wearing.
Fucking Americans are so gullible

TEMU products don’t last very long.
|

Obama sold out to the chinese, basically he allowed them to keep fix their currency and basically undermine our own production. the rest of the western world did the same.
that really stimulated the chinese economy, biggest boom they have had since whenever..
but it really hurt domestic production, both in usa and in eu - as local production could not compete with the "fake price" of the chinese import product.

Love Temu.. wish i had stock in the company before it grew this big. Who knew??
|
|
lapierre, it takes a lot more than outsourcing, to build a country.

Just an example of their amazing prices (had to search past orders .... I ordered black out curtains that were 72" long for $22, 84" x 52" blackouts for $16 per curtain, and uber colorful fantasy land curtains all 52" by 84" for $22 - $27 a Set!!.
Thats unbeatable as far as I know.

Ok stuff decent prices. Unfortunately they shop everything in cheap poly bags not boxes so the contents all get smashed. 🤣.
