Korean Spas
I adore Korean spas with all my heart. To breathe in hot air, sweat profusely, and attempt to meditate- a convergence of pleasure in the Jimjilbong. Each week I make a point of going, I even purchase passes in bulk!
Some of these spas are mixed gender and others are exclusive to one gender. My favorite spa is mixed. It's not because its mixed, its small and quiet compared to the bigger ones. I often have a sauna room entirely to myself, and there is nothing more relaxing. The extreme heat and cold make troubling thoughts less likely to appear. It is pure sensation.
At the bigger spas I was more likely to talk to other people and have a few short stories from there. Anyone have a Korean spa story?
