You know why you keep seeing repeat classifieds/updates?
It's because these profiles retain the people they've met, either thru mid/mediocre service or priced out of range. Thus, they must keep putting themselves out there to grab either more suckers or people with lower expectations.
Just like in business, I never go to businesses that advertise like all those plumbing and tax offices or lawyers. If you were good, you wouldn't need all this advertising since you would have repeat customers and word of mouth recommending them.
Either that or your business is so big (McD's), you need to actively fight others to keep a big enough percentage of the market to sustain the beast OR raise prices to sustain the beast and screw the customer, OR lower the quality to keep prices as is and screw the customer.
I tell you, I eat almost exclusively at The Habit when I want a burger and (my specualtion) they don't advertise and are doing just fine.
Am I wrong? Anyone else have strong feelings either way?
