New ability to unlock mail for someone else
Just look at their profile and beneath their subscriber section, you will see a new button labeled "Unlock Mail For"

Click that and you can directly unlock mail for them instead of transferring FXPoints to them.

The options are:

1 day for 40 FXPoints
3 days for 100 FXPoints
7 days for 200 FXPoints

This is to cut down a shady requests for FXPoints from people who actually DO have the ability to send mail, but claim they don't and request FXPoints from other users.

When you unlock mail for someone, in your FXPoint activity history, you will see it as a TRANSFER, with a note that it was to unlock mail for so-and-so for X days.

If someone unlocks mail for you, you will see it as a transfer from the sender, and then an immediate corresponding expenditure to unlock the mail.

So there you!

     "Orphan" Albums
Last year we had a data corruption that cause photos to not be linked to an album.

The solution was a special "Orphans" folder that only the owner of the folder could see that contained these orphaned photos.

The owner could then convert the special folder into a real folder and perform operations on the photos and now "real" Orphan folder from there.

As you may have noticed, Orphan albums seem to appear here and there, even on brand new accounts.

We have not been able to reproduce this and track it down, so that we can fix it. We have only observed that it is happening.

For anyone who has noticed this happening on their account, or knows how to reliably reproduce this issue, please provide the specific steps you used to make this occur so we can stop it from happening.

We have implemented a process that will automatically delete Orphan albums that are empty, but that doesn't prevent it from happening in the first place, which is what we would like to do.

Thank you.
