For Memorial Day
1. Please don't wish someone a Happy Memorial day. There is nothing happy about brave men and women dying for their brothers and sisters.
2. It's a holiday, yes. But it's more a remembrance.
3. If you want to know the true meaning, visit Arlington or your local VA cemetery, not Disneyland.
4. Attend a Bell Ceremony and shed some tears.
5. Say a prayer.
6. Remember the Fallen for all the Good they did while they were here.
Be glad you live in the land of the brave and the home of the free, because good men and women gave their all so that that remains true.
Just my two cents, tho.

Hacksaw Ridge
Most realistic infantry firefight scenes of any film I've ever seen, surpassing even Saving Private Ryan.
Terrific post-script ending, too, with on-camera interviews with the REAL soldiers the actors portrayed.
