What are some compliments you received where you were like, "hey thanks!" but later you pause and think, "wait... what?"

What rules do you break?
What are some "rules" that you don't follow?
I'll jaywalk or even cross an intersection diagonally only if I'm not blocking traffic and I'm not in danger. I see people standing at an empty intersection waiting for the red light all the time. The extreme opposite of NYC. I'm thinking they're dumb as I walk past them, meanwhile, they probably think I'm dumb. I have no doubt these people would cross the street in between blocks, but not at a corner because a light bulb said so.

Useless rant
It's incredibly annoying when I'm trying to snoop on someone and their username is some generic word like "the" (for example) and searching Blogs About results in a thousand blogs.
