Burning Man is a muddy mess
There is a crazy festival in the Nevada desert every year called Burning Man. The place is called Black Rock City, and it is in the middle of nowhere.
This year 70,000 people attended.
It has turned into a muddy mess. The event takes place on a dry lake bed. This year rain from Tropical Storm Hilary and this weeks tropical moisture turned the dry lake bed into deep mud.
Hundreds got stuck in the mud trying to drive to the main road. One person has died so far.

Dating apps are experimenting with pricing in a desperate search for profit
Marketplace Radio ran a story about dating apps today.
Dating apps aren't making money like they used to. The name of the game used to be growth in the number of users. Now user numbers are starting to fall. In my opinion the issue is that men have figured out that dating apps are a waste of time. Now the dating apps are having to figure out how to squeeze more money out of the users that they have.

Midget wrestling must be stopped
Thank God someone is finally doing something about midget wrestling.
This article was from a month ago. I assume that the Sonoma County Fair is going on now.

A wrestling show scheduled at the Sonoma County Fair is under fire. Disabled advocates say it uses a derogatory term to describe the wrestlers, who are all little people.
Disabled advocate Eli Gelardin said he was shocked after learning a troupe of little people wrestlers called the “Midget Wrestling Warriors” is scheduled to perform at the Sonoma County Fair for the second year in a row.
On Friday afternoon, Sonoma County Fair CEO Rebecca Bartling confirmed the show will go on with a name change: “Short Sleeve Sampson’s Wrestling Warriors." She said the show was a hit last year.

Harry Bentley

Harry Bentley was a character in The Jeffersons. He was the boring goofy nextdoor neighbor. He was British.

Harry Bentley was played by Paul Benedict. He died in 2008 at 70 years old. It turns out that there was nothing British about him. He was from Boston. He also played the Number Painter on the Bert and Ernie Show.
It also turns out that Paul Benedict looked goofy because he had a hormone issue. This hormone issue gave him a giant nose and giant jaw. It also made is cock like a tennis ball can.

Coming home tonight I was passed by several news vans. What is up?
WHITTIER, Calif. (KABC) -- A 19-year-old who was kidnapped during a shooting at a Whittier park over the weekend was found dead and according to police, she was killed in a random attack.
Police said 20-year-old Gabriel Esparza, a Whittier resident, was arrested at his job Monday in the city of Lakewood.
According to family members, Andrea Vazquez was there with her boyfriend when an armed man approached their vehicle and started shooting at them. Her sister, Edlyn Vazquez, said the boyfriend took off but when he returned, Andrea was gone.

One way to think of the movie is to see it as what goes on in Greta Gerwig's head. What's more, Barbie shows us what all American Millennial women think. Millennial women are those between between ages of 25 and 40 years old.
What allowed feminism to grow in America over the last fifty years was that men did not actively oppose it. As the result of watching the Barbie movie men now see what women really think about gender relations. Men are going to check out. Put more accurately, we are going to see even more men check out, over and above the number of men who have already checked out. It is clear that trying to have a relationships with American women is an exercise in futility.

Orange County Superior Court Judge Jeff Ferguson walks the streets today a free man.
What is alleged to have happened is that he shot his wife dead on Thursday night at their home in an upscale neighborhood of Anaheim Hills.
Ferguson is out on bail. Why shouldn't he be? Is he a threat to society? No. In his mind he solved his problem on Thursday night. He won't bother anybody else.
What if Ferguson had divorced his wife and joined us here in the yellow submarine? Had he done that, his wife would still be alive, and he wouldn't be facing a charge for murder one.

No hot chicks at Sturgis
Sturgis starts Friday and goes for a week after that. Sturgis is a big motorcycle rally in South Dakota every August.
(By the way, I don't own a motorcycle or ride motorcycles.)
It turns out that Sturgis is a geezer-fest. It is rich Baby Boomers and Gen. Xers doing lame-ass role play. A lot of guys do not ride their motorcycles to South Dakota. They have a trailer deliver their motocycle to Sturgis. They fly in from California or New Jersey.
Some of the geezers bring their women. To be fair these women were hot chicks in the 1980s.
If women around here could get themselves to South Dakota next week, they could probably have a good time. It isn't just gross bikers. There are plenty of rich clean-cut corporate guys.
