New LP
Feels like I'm one of the few that is looking forward to the new era of Linkin Park. I did not know Emily Armstrong's prior work but I believed that she held her own when she made her live stream debut. It's a lot of pressure to make your debut that way singing old Linkin Park songs IMHO. It would have been safer to just release the new single.
The mixed reaction shows how much Chester Bennington is really missed and I do feel the same way. I expected criticism for the new singer being a female but the purity tests have caught me by surprise, yet not surprised.
I trust that the band made the right choice for the future of the group. They clearly want to continue to make new music and not just tour and get a copycat Chester (e.g. Journey, Queen).
The new single is growing on me and I'm looking forward to the rest of the new album.

Not only did she toss this guy's salad for three nights in a row, she was about to buy him a boat in Newport Beach if it wasn't for his wife intervening and threatening her with a restraining order!
Wonder if this mystery husband is on HX? Haha. Despite his luck running out on acquiring a boat, it does sound like he enjoyed his benefits while it lasted.
But I do feel sorry for her for falling in loving with a married man who ultimately won't leave his wife for her. However you feel about getting into a relationship like that or not, I respect her public apology. But I also like when she says, "I am not sorry for how I love" and doesn't apologize for that. I'm sure there are members on this site that would appreciate how she loves.
Hope she recovers from this and gets some help too. Loved her in the movie Hustle & Flow.
