Umm... the entire rest of the country isn't a) on the border or  creating sanctuary cities. So extrapolate? Let's not. Because we can't.
But more importantly, how is a wall going to stop illegal immigration when the cause is primarily overstayed visas?

I was hoping he was going to have Mexico pay for it by incentivizing better trade deals and working in cooperation with the Mexican government to create a jobs program for it on the other side of the border.
Yeah. I admit it. I'm a wonk. But regardless, whether we build it or not, the wall will be an utter waste except for the 5000 border patrol jobs that Trump 'created' by executive order after an executive order freezing federal hiring.
Just wow. He really is that stupid when it comes to deals. But as a con man, he really is bloody brilliant!
