Secure, encrypted texting/messaging Hey y'all,
Can we please agree to use encrypted messaging apps as the standard of communication? Using standard text is absurd, especially considering recent circumstances. Signal is considered the gold standard (even used by most of the White House staff responsible for info leaks). Telegram is good too, but encryption is not on by default. WhatsApp claims to be encrypted end-to-end, but it's owned by Facebook so ymmv in the long run.
I feel like Signal makes the most sense. It's free, it's extremely secure, and it's got a simple interface, and available on iPhone and android. Can I get an amen to community safety and end-to-end encrypted apps?
