Given carte blanche to design and implement an entirely new socioeconomic system for all of society, what would it look like?
The catch is: you do not know in advance what role or status you will have in this society. You also do not know what gender/skills/disadvantages/differences you might have relative to the rest of the population.
This is not a new question. It is an old concept from moral philosophy called the "Veil of Ignorance"
