Is Trump done, part 14 - war dogs So, as we all knew would happen, Trump has weakened our nation and defenses.
“The nation’s top general and other Pentagon chiefs will begin quarantining at home after a top Coast Guard official tested positive for COVID-19 following a White House visit, according to multiple reports.
Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Mark Milley and several members of the Joint Chiefs will enter quarantine Monday after Adm. Charles Ray, vice commandant of the US Coast Guard, tested positive for COVID-19, both Fox News and CNN reported.”
.....
The Joint Chiefs of Staff, as well as other top U.S. military leaders, have gone into quarantine after attending meetings at the Pentagon with a Coast Guard commander who tested positive for coronavirus, a Defense Department official said Tuesday.
Trump is taking out top leaders, and Putin is creaming his pants. And then sending the Chino es for Trump to enjoy.

Time for an intervention Another word of White House gossip is a good one.
According to reporting from Vanity Fair, the President's oldest son and most vocal defender—Donald Trump Jr.—is seeking to stage an intervention for the President, whom he believes is "acting crazy" amidst the diagnosis.
Citing anonymous sources, Trump Jr. has reportedly told his friends that he's urging Trump's daughter and advisor Ivanka Trump, as well as her husband and fellow White House advisor Jared Kushner to ally with him in confronting the President about his behavior.

Is Trump done? Medical edition - shove its up his ass Well, it’s semi official. He’s gone from having the Regeneron cocktail of antivirals and now has added Remisvir to his medical care. It means that he is being treated with aggressive mixes, as normal stuff is not working.

So is Trump done? I remember what my Middle East friends tell me... leadership comes from a show of strength and that what you say is right because of your own personal strength.
With his infection Trump has been proven wrong about how he has handled the virus nationally and now personally, and he put his own health in jeopardy through his arrogance.
In short, much of what he touts has been proven wrong.
Supporters are becoming disillusioned.
Fanatics are having their comeuppance.
How does he come back from this?

All Hope lies with Hicks Today it was announced that COvid is one step closer to Trump.
Hope Hicks has tested positive.
“ Hick has traveled with the President multiple times recently, including to the debate in Cleveland on Tuesday, and was seen boarding Marine One, along with several other of the President's closest aides -- Jared Kushner, Dan Scavino and Nicholas Luna -- none of whom wore masks, on Wednesday as Trump was heading to a campaign rally in Minnesota.”

Pence vs Harris I’ll skip tonight and wait for this matchup.
While Trump and Biden are old white guys with a history of public guffaws, the VP debate should be more i te resting, as good money has that one will replace the next President before the term is over.
I am personally looking forward to Harris grilling Pence alive.

Is it “fake news”, part 2 Trump’s tax filings could put him in danger, Sheil says, is if they are contradicted by other financial filings that indicate the president knowingly misrepresented his finances on one or more of them. As I recently reported for New York about Trump’s criminal exposure, falsifying business records can be charged as a felony with a maximum penalty of five years in prison if it is committed in the furtherance of another crime, such as tax fraud.
One place to look for inconsistencies, Sheil says, is in the tax forms’ depreciation schedules. “It sounds pretty arcane,” he says, “but it might be important, because when you depreciate an asset you have have to show the cost basis of that asset on the tax return. It should be the same amount that you use in loan applications to banks when you use it as collateral to purchase additional commercial property or golf courses or whatever. If you are enhancing these assets’ value falsely — putting down a different number on your financial statements than what’s on your tax returns — how do you explain that? You’re boxed in.” Likewise, any inconsistency between property-tax filings or insurance applications could also suggest fraud.

Florida conspiracies Rank this one up their with the best of crane_op.
Sigh.
So everyone knows that there is a strong effort to pay the funds to have freed convicts vote.
Here is the latest so crazy to be true yet it’s Florida:
The Republican Governor and the power wranglers behind Trump know that Florida will once again decide an election. In order to balance out the votes that convicts may get for the Dems, the band on masks and in house dining and events has been lifted...
... in order to get people too sick to vote. And to also cast mail in ballots under the names of recent dead. If they are dead, who is going to protest how they mailed in their vote?
This is coming from someone I know at the coronors office in Pensacola

Sturgis, part 2 From the article:
“All Midwest states except Ohio reported more cases in the past four weeks as compared with the prior four weeks, led by South Dakota and North Dakota. South Dakota had the biggest percentage increase at 166% with 8,129 new cases, while North Dakota’s new cases doubled to 8,752 as compared to 4,243 during the same time in August.
Many cases in those two states have been linked to the annual motorcycle rally in Sturgis, South Dakota, that annually attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors.
According to a Reuters analysis, positive cases rose in half of the 50 U.S. states this month. Ten states have reported a record one-day increase in COVID-19 cases in September.”
