Today in finance: Harley Davidson, son of a bitch Just had one of our fork lift drivers share that he is going to Hawaii for Christmas, and it was all paid for with his Harley Davidson stock.
In one week it went from 34 to 46.
Hindsight it was obvious, but damn did I miss that opportunity.

The trouble with Ye Holy shit, the S.S.Shit-enburg blimp that is Kanye West is burning and keeps falling down.
Kicked out by Adidas, forced out by Sketchers, and now has his own people giving up his secrets as he wanted to make a Hitler album.
And more fallout continues, and he jokes about it.

Today in gloom: flesh eating bacteria For those of you who are thinking about vacationing in Florida, heads up about the water.
Flesh eating bacteria cases are on the rise.
“Parts of Florida hit hardest by Hurricane Ian are seeing nearly double the normal number of infections from a flesh-eating bacteria that thrives in brackish floodwaters.
According to the Florida Department of Health, the state has seen 65 cases of Vibrio vulnificus infections and 11 deaths from the bacterium in 2022. Lee County, where Ian made landfall on Sept 28 as a category 4 storm, accounts for 45% of the cases.”

Star Wars: Andor The slow burn paid off in episode 6.
Awesome spectacle. Beautiful cinematography. Tension and character development that felt real instead of stereotypical. And that climax.

Today in Fashion- cover her in that white stuff Saw this and I thought some of the ladies here may give their opinions.
Bella Hadid started a fashion show where a dress was sprayed onto her body.
It started off looking like an artificial bukkake, but as it solidified, the textures became clear and the dress designer took the stage and altered the outfit so it looked like an actual dress.
The idea is that, in the future, a dress is sprayed on for what ever the night requires. Once the event is done, the dress is recycled back into the goo vat and used again later.

Meet Perla Huerta No, not “Perla” the Scandinavian exotic dancer famous for having an “open door” policy for debauchery in Barcelona.
Nor the famous Philippine mixed blonde “door opener” for the rich and powerful in Calapan City.
Nope, meet former counterintelligence officer Perla Huerta, of Tampa and for San Antonio resident.
Why is she mentioned?
Because she has been confirmed as the person wrangling Venezuelan refugees to Martha’s Vineyard, with photos taken by the migrants of her when she was bird dogging others to help get them on the plane to Massachussets.
It will be interesting to see how she plays this, as a 20 year bet of counterintelligence is no easy flip.

Today in gloom- nuclear option Looks like Putin is done losing and playing around.
He plans to annex parts of Ukraine, get pro Ukraine regions to vote to become Russia, call in 300,000 reserve fighters, and use nukes.
With that said, Russia has seen a mass exodus of people leaving as things are about to get worse as winter comes.

DeSantis and Abbott, arrest them part 2 Well, looks like the Sheriff of the migrant center where these immigrants were taken from is out to make arrests.
“Authorities in Texas have opened a criminal investigation into Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' flight last week that took roughly 50 Venezuelan migrants to Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. Javier Salazar, the sheriff of Bexar County, where San Antonio is located, said in a news release Monday that his office is investigating whether the migrants were victims of crimes.”
Something also of note: DeSantis also hired a videographer who documented the whole trip, and his videos will now count as criminal evidence against the Florida governor, as the funding came from his office and his say-so.
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot and then having the ricochet blow your dick off.
That move just cost DeSantis the presidency.

Mar A Lago part 9 Today’s updates: more of the transcript for the redacted affidavit have been Unsealed.
There was a hard drive found with significant information on it, as well as security footage.
“ ‘The newly visible portions of the FBI agent’s affidavit show that the FBI on June 24 subpoenaed for the footage after a visit weeks earlier to Mar-a-Lago in which agents observed 50 to 55 boxes of records in the storage room at the property. The Trump Organization provided a hard drive on July 6 in response to the subpoena’, the affidavit says.
The footage could be an important piece of the investigation, including as agents evaluate whether anyone has sought to obstruct the probe. The Justice Department has said in a separate filing that it has “developed evidence that government records were likely concealed and removed from the Storage Room and that efforts were likely taken to obstruct the government’s investigation.”
