Looks like we are on step closer to Russia invading Ukraine, and seeing if we have the balls to step up and thwart Russia’s actions.
2 things. By all accounts an invasion of Ukraine for Russia would not pay off in any way, especially in winter. It would hurt their economy in the short run as the major pipelines for billions of dollars of natural gas into Europe would be at risk, and the direct pipeline from russia to Germany would also be in jeopardy. All you would get is More contested territory.
Second, is this a feint? Keeping our eyes here while something else is going on?
