When I went down I was blessed with only road burn. It can always be worse. He most likely will never ride again so he must be extremely devastated.

I wonder if he signed that paper to go to arbitration and forfeit right to sue.
Could have been in the papers they make you sign when your UD.
Usually also the doctors probably aren't employees but contractors.
The surgeon does what he’s told to do they don’t diagnose.
A side note that’s why I dont ride in CA no more everyone is on there phones and to busy to look for riders.
Hope all goes well with him.

And I bet he doesn’t regret getting a motorcycle

I guess some folks don't read things in their entirety....

I saw that ending coming.

For those who expressed a concern for Ron and his future, please read the post again. In its entirety. To the very last sentence.

I just had surgery on my right arm. But, before I went under, wrote “wrong Arm” on left arm. Alls good.
As for your friend, get another lawyer...
|

If he lost his arms, you could hang him on a wall and call him Art..

On the off chance there is any truth to the story at all, there are standard procedures to be followed that prevent operating on the wrong body part. X-rays that are clearly marked left and right, for example. Also, the body part itself is marked with ink before the surgery, preferably while the patient is awake. A rechecking of the chart, right there in the operating suite. There is a whole checklist. There is absolutely no excuse for operating on the wrong body part. Ever.

Some people wouldn't know humor if it ran over them with a truck! Motorcycles are not dangerous, it is the IDIOTS in cages that hit them that are dangerous! Over 30,000 people die a year in US and no one thinks cars are dangerous? Motorcyclists take their own lives(usually) in their hands, while car drivers usually take out other people in a crash.

Too funny

A blind (or blond) girl told me I had a big penis...
But she was just pulling my leg.

|
When the proprietor of a house of pleasure answered the doorbell, she found a guy in a wheelchair with no arms or legs.
She asked him what he wanted. He told her he wanted to come in.
She says, “Why, what can you do? You have no arms or legs”.
He replied “I rang the doorbell, didn’t I?”.

RainMaker1964, said what I would say about operating on the right body part.
|

Since he has no legs, just cut off his arms and you can use him for second base.

Hahahaha, i love this joke! Great job, OP.

It may be a joke, but the procedures used today in almost every hospital in the U.S. are based on some horrific mistakes that happened exactly like that. That's why they mark the site of the surgery with a sharpie prior to the surgery and have what is sometimes called a "timeout" or a "huddle" so that everyone in the OR is on the same page. As a result, those types of mistakes have been largely eliminated. But it took a few poor souls to have the wrong appendage or organ operated on to come to that realization.
But guess what? It still happens occasionally! (see link)

I don't wanna see it.I like it better as humor

What do you call a man with no arms and no legs laying next to a hole? Doug.
What do you call a man with no arms and no legs laying IN a hole? Phil.

And if you get bit by a Mojave' green Rattler in the IE / desert, you get a Helo flight to Loma Linda, as apparently no others have the anti-Venom. Last I heard, 15 years ago, that flight was 17k $.
